One nation under god at 12:19 p.m.

I just read a great book. Yes, it's another semi-jewish gal rambling on about life, but if you're like me (a regular semi-jewish gal rambling on about life)it's entertaining. I highly recommend it.

Can't pass up the day without a Britney update. Now I know this is old news to some but somehow the part about the feet went under my radar. God, this made me laugh for no good reason:

SPEARS' HUSBAND 'SMELLS,' CLAIMS EX
Britney Spears' husband Kevin Federline has severe hygiene problems -- according to his ex-girlfriend Amy Woody.
Woody, 25, dated Federline six years ago, and was left unimpressed by his body odor.
She says, "He wouldn't shower or brush his teeth at all so he'd stink. He didn't care.
"When we used to go Vegas, he would gamble for two days without sleeping then he'd catch some shut-eye for a few hours then go back to the casino."
A friend of Federline's most recent ex, Shar Jackson, who is mother to his two kids Kaleb and Kori, adds, "Kevin would go for days without taking a shower or bath. It was gross."
Federline's wife of six months hit the headlines in December when airline passengers complained her smelly feet had overwhelmed them and staff reportedly asked the pop superstar to put her shoes back on.

Last week we watched The Village. Has anyone seen this movie? It goes in the top five of WORST movies ever made. Really. It took us three nights to watch it and it's not long. The first night we were so bored after half an hour that we had to stop and watch a rerun of Three's Company and hope for a little action the second night. The second night didn't fare any better. The third (basically the last ten minutes) was an unbelievable display of predictibility coupled with stupidity. Really. Now, when the Sixth Sense came out I figured out the plot about ten minutes into the movie. I figured it was just me and a one time thing. No way, same thing this time. Unfortunately to get there it was much more of a hassle though. At least in the Sixth Sense you could laugh at the horrible little kid for the hour and a half it took you to get to the ending. With The Village you get to watch what basically amounts to an 18th century period piece where the most exciting goings on is women in Little House on the Prairie outfits sweeping the porch.

Does it seem that a lot of mass murders and insanity in general are caused by religious folk? I think Michael Moore should relaly start following the religious fanatics around and get some statistics for us. I find it odd that a large group of people that have 'found god' have also been able to look away from the teachings of the bible and down the the scope of an uzi. Just my opinion but I think there's something to be learned here.
