what about Bob at 12:12 pm

My favorite restaurant when I was young was Bobs Big Boy. I dont know what it was about the plastic, creepy looking Bob out front that made it seem so comfortable but it did. I loved going there with my parents and then with my friends starting in Junior High. This was back in the day where we you could ride your bike the five miles there alone and no one worried that youd be kidnapped. As a senior in high school it was well known that stealing the statue was a right of passage for every outgoing cheerleading squad. Ours was no different. I was sad to see Bobs slowly go out of business in the early 90s.

Last month I was in Las Vegas and as I stared out the car window on a trip to yet another smoke filled casino full of gambling tourists I saw my old nemesis, Bob. Right there on the side of the road was a Bobs Big Boy being erected. Amazing. Hes back in all his glory. I hope he makes it to Sacramento soon.

Bobs Big Boy site open for business. North Las Vegas eatery abuzz with patrons. A new Bobs Big Boy Restaurant, with its iconic logo of an ebullient, well-fed youngster wearing checkerboard pants, opened recently in North Las Vegas. The business opened its doors on Nov. 22, and its immediate popularity was obvious. By the following Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was brimming over with patrons. Hostesses were advising potential customers of a 45-minute wait for seating. Bobs Big Boy is a brand with a great deal of energy and appeal right now, said Jim Teleghani, president of TCCC Inc. Bobs Big Boy is returning to the West Coast in a very big way.
