"McCool, you have no idea. Those are a cluster of the front parking spaces in the newly remodeled Safeway's lot and that was after a whole perhaps 1/8 inch of rain fell in downtown Sacramento. Apparently that is the drainage plan: Channel rainfall to a bunch of the front parking spaces. And, believe it or not, that parking lot was redone not that long ago. Sheesh. And Plumwin, I hadn't noticed the newly painted carts. I will make a point of it. Maybe that will give me some comfort as I squeeze in and out of my parking space and run the gauntlet of recently added "conveniences" inside the store."
